  • We provide expert assessment for children and young people who have experienced a brain injury. Our occupational therapists use a variety of assessments to gather information on the child’s strengths and needs.

  • Our occupational therapists combine their clinical expertise with the best research evidence to create the most effective, goal-orientated rehabilitation programme for each child.

  • We know that for children to learn, they need repetition. Our occupational therapists create unique programmes that can be easily delivered by parents, teachers and carers daily.

  • Our comprehensive and concise reports are bespoke to the therapy focus of each child. Our occupational therapists are experienced in writing reports for medico-legal cases, with all recommendations accompanied by clear clinical reasoning.

Our Support

Moving & Handling

We recognise that working with children with complex disabilities often requires a team. Many of our clients have directly employed support teams and that’s why our occupational therapists hold Level 4 Advance People Handling and Risk Assessment Key Trainer’s Certificates.

  • Our occupational therapists are able to complete moving and handling risk assessments for children with complex movement disorders and deliver bespoke moving and handling training. They often take on the roles of treating therapist and moving and handling advisor, ensuring a holistic, practical approach to care.

  • Our moving and handling training provides teams with dedicated time to review challenges, collectively problem solve and identify solutions for safer moving and handling. The individual competency of each team member is reviewed and documented to maintain compliance with legislation.
